A little about me:
I grew up in central Iowa and graduated from Collins-Maxwell High School in 2000. I then attended Iowa State University from 2000 to 2008 getting my BS in MIS and masters in Human Computer Interaction.
What keeps me going
First and foremost, Coffee(decaf). After that I am pretty laid back and lead a semi quiet life. I spend my free time exploring Seattle, wishing I was riding my motorcycle, computer building & modding (overclocking), golfing and anything else that gets me outside or gets my attention.
Golfing
In general I am a sucker for golf. I didn't golf in high school much and have been making up for it ever since. I worked on golf courses for 8 years and managed to take my handicap from a 16 to a 4. The last two years have seen my handicap go back up to an 8 or 9 but I plan on working on my consistency off the tee (not trying to kill it every time) and my putting. Speaking of putting, my putters are all Scotty Camerons (1 Napa, Newport 2 mid-slant, Select Newport 2, circa 3, Kombi S, Teryllium Ten, and a 2002 Napa Prototype) . I am a fan of all things golf so I can see this addiction always growing.
Computing
According to my wife I am a "Computer Jock". Not too sure what she means by that but it doesn't seem all that bad, I could be called worse things. Ever since I got my hands on a computer I have been upgrading, tweaking the settings and finding ways to get more out of a computer. I started off at Iowa State as a Computer Science major and switched to MIS when I realized that taking two college level foreign language classes just wasn't going to happen and the CS group didn't fit my personality. After getting my MIS degree I stayed for a few years longer and got my masters in Human Computer Interaction.
Well, that is a little about me. I am sure that I will come up with more and update this page at some point.
