2006 Harley Davidson Sportster 883 Custom

This is a page for my Harley Davidson 883 (converted to a 1200) Sportster.

** Update - the sporty is a 1200 now, but it is leaking at the pushrod tube base(s) on the rear cylinder. :( I love the new found power of the 1200 but after 20 miles it is leaking, enough that I don't want to ride it tomorrow which is supposed to be a sunny and 80* day on March 31st.

This is the motorcycle that came as a fathers day/anniversary present. It was a pretty simple bike when we got it but now has a little more personality to it. The items added in the order completed are below:

Sissy Bar and luggage rack
SE Air Intake kit - replaced the kit filter with a K&N air filter
Chrome Accessories - bolt covers(front axle, rear swingarm), timing cover, Inspection cover, derby cover
Sundowner seat
V&H slip-on exhaust
Clear lense kit for front and rear turn signals
Color Matched air cleaner cover and battery/oil tank covers
Chrome sportster air cleaner cover accessory
Synthetic Leather Saddle Bags
Aux. Headlight kit w/turn signal relocation

1200 conversion

Things I want for my Sporty:

Highway/Roll Bar - no plans on rolling it, just a place to kick my legs out onto.
Lots of little Chrome pieces - Engine Base cover - belt cover - etc...
Chrome kit for Primary and Gear Case and Sproket
Horn Kit to take up some space on the left side of the engine - looks goofy w/o the big horn there
~~Down the road: convert to a 1200 with the SE Kit~~
